" PITTSBURGH (Ticker) - Pittsburgh Penguins center Max Talbot could have a broken right foot, according to a report on the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette web site Wednesday.

Talbot is believed to have suffered the injury blocking a shot during the team’s Game Three victory over the New York Rangers in the Eastern Conference semifinals on Tuesday.

He had the foot in a walking boot when he reported to Madison Square Garden for practice Wednesday, according to the newspaper.

Team officials declined to discuss Talbot’s injury or his status for the remainder of the postseason. The Penguins lead the best-of-seven series with the Rangers three games to none heading into Thursday’s Game Four.

Talbot has two points during the playoffs, after posting 12 goals and 26 points in 63 regular season games.

Well, this is the entire article. And it is not good news. It is not official as of yet, but doesn't look good.

Yeah it's not great news, but he did a hell of a job in doing it...

The good part is that we have two healthy players waiting in the wings to take both Talbot and Scuderi's places (Roberts and Sydor, respectively). While theyre not wholesale replacements, each are tested vets ready to go.
